Spain’s finest have just joined forces on a limited edition jean with something eye-catching in their back pocket. Retailers Redcast Heritage and denim powerhouse Companion Denim have linked up for this exclusive denim drop, the ‘El Paso’ Joel slim jean, made from a Japanese 15oz. Zimbabwe cotton which is woven in Kojima.
All the attention to detail we’ve come to expect from Companion is easily visible on the jeans, from the leather-backed buttons and rivets, to the felled and bound seams and lined pockets. And as great as the slubby denim is, it’s that back pocket that sets these bad boys apart. The handwoven stripe fabric used for the back pocket is woven by artisans in India and you’re sure as hell not going to see another jean like it. The jeans themselves have been cut and sewn by no more than two pairs of hands in Companion’s Sabadell workshop, just outside of Barcelona, with a medium rise and slim fit. With other unique touches such as the key loop, tucked belt loops and multi-colored buttonholes, the Joel slim is set to become a surefire hit in Spain and abroad.
