877 Workshop Casts Jewelry The Old Way

sponsored-story-bannerJewelry line 877 Workshop was founded in 2012 in Hamburg, Germany by Sylvia and Daniel Janssen. The pair are a husband and wife team with a passion for everything vintage, industrial heritage and traditional crafts and their focus is the design and manufactory of casual men’s products – jewelry, customized garments and goods – all crafted with vintage machines and almost
forgotten techniques.

They own a rare collection of over 700 hand engraved embossing dies from 1905 to 1960 for making rings, pendants and pins. They also use the centuries old technique of lost mold sand casting and Daniel has a master education in hand engraving to add a personal touch to any piece you’d like.

If you are unsure of your ring size you can order a ring sizer tool beforehand and even if the ring doesn’t fit 100%–sometimes it is just a matter of personal taste–the resizing is free of charge.

All pieces are produced in Hamburg and shipped worldwide. The whole collection is available online at 877workshop.com and at selected retailers like The Heritage Post General Store in Düsseldorf, Germany; Deus ex Machina in Zürich, Switzerland; Concrete Matter in Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Kings & Queens in Antwerp, Belgium.
