Cloth Face Masks – Five Plus One

Five Plus One is our weekly series of buyer’s guides. We pick a specific category and dig up five great options along with one that’s a little outside the norm.

While it is important to leave N95 and other medical grade face masks to the medical practitioners fighting on the front-lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC recommends that us ordinary folks wear face makes when in public. As such, we’ve put together a list of some of the ones made by small manufacturers in our community.

Many of these makers offer package deals where a mask is donated to medical works with purchase, so please consider taking advantage of such deals if you are in a place to do so.

Also, if you don’t have the means to buy a mask, check out our guides on how to make one easily with a t-shirt and for those more skilled with a sewing machine.
