Tengku from Malaysia’s fades are so good they deserve to be reproduced as a light wash, pre-distressed pair of jeans. Unfortunately, this probably won’t happen because his fades simply go too hard. The pre-distressers would quit. The sandblasters and lasers and whatever else they use nowadays would unplug themselves. And I wouldn’t blame them.
Despite only wearing them for a year, Tengku has squeezed some deep, deep wear out of these 21 oz. Iron Heart raw denim jeans. Granted he did wear them every day, but the whiskers, honeycombs, and knee craters are just beyond anything that can be carved out in a year in the Western world. Not fair? Life’s not fair, bud.
Each crease and fade is super defined with dark indigo shadows that allow them to pop effortlessly, proving once again that heavyweight really is the way to go for these striking, high-contrast fades.
