Viberg’s Bernhard Boot Is Named After Its Founder

In the world of boots, it’s not often that I see something that looks comfy, easy, and all-around cool. But right here we have a mouth-watering piece of footwear that ticks all those boxes.

The new Bernhard Boot from Viberg is a tribute to the brand’s founder and its unique silhouette looks to be one of the brand’s most versatile yet. The moc-toe chukka is based on a vintage hiking boot and is made from an Eco Veg Tan Roughout leather made at C.F. Stead tannery. This roughout upper, unconventional toe, and crepe sole give these stompers a kind of cool grandpa look that will drop perfectly with some selvedge. Not only that, but this perfectly chunky boot has a little bit of that French je ne sais quoi, which has been so popular of late with the likes of Kleman and Paraboot

If you’ve been a reader for a while, you know the score with Viberg. If you haven’t, these are handmade in Canada by some of the best bootmakers in the business with Goodyear welt construction and an antique storm welt. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a flaw when they turn up on your doorstep.
