Waft Washi With The Master-Piece Ohnishitsune Shoten Fan

Beat the heat with the master-piece x Ohnishitsune Shoten Fan. Or, fan down your sweaty friends, family, and pets this summer with a handmade fan that’s as beautiful as it is functional.  It will even look really nice in the winter, displayed on your mantle or bedroom wall, just as long as your wallpaper isn’t black camouflage.

Ohnishitsune Shoten has been making bamboo and paper fans in the traditional Japanese style for almost a century. The Ohnishi family dedicates their lives to preserving their craft, and now you can own a little piece of that.  Or you can fly out to Kyoto when restrictions lift and grab one in person.

Made in collaboration with master-piece, this fan uses hand-cut, dyed, and built bamboo fan ribs in its design. The washi paper has been printed with a subtle Japanese archipelago camouflage design that you won’t find anywhere else.
