Division Road Welcomes Crocket & Jones To Roster With 5 Exclusive Make Ups

If you know Division Road Inc. you know they’re not about half measures. When they do something, they really do it. So it only stands to reason that when this standout retailer forges a partnership with one of the most legendary footwear brands of all time, that they would really, really do it.

Crockett & Jones is an exemplary shoe and boot brand based in the erstwhile shoe-making capital of England: Northamptonshire. Many of the old brands struggle these days, but C&J keeps on keeping on, famous for its incredible quality and uniquely wearable lasts. This old-school brand doesn’t often collab in the modern sense of the word, but they made an exception for Division Road, and we understand why.

The resulting partnership gave birth to five models, split into two versatile categories. The first is a beefy, tough take on the brand’s classics called the Waxed Roughout Tank pack and the second is a little more old-fashioned, the Scotch Grain Calf Icons.

The first pack includes three pieces: two boots and a handsome, murdered-out derby. The lugged Vibram soles of all three give them their tank tread look and name. The Waxed Roughout Calf Suede comes from Charles F. Stead and gives a more informal feel to these very formally constructed pieces. The second pack includes a shoe and boot, both built on the 325 last and each using a lustrous Scotch Grain Leather, a cornerstone of the C&J look.

The whole ensemble is the result of much conversation and negotiation and is the first step to cementing what will definitely be a fruitful transatlantic partnership. To see the full collection and read up on all the details that make these pieces so special, head on over to Division Road Inc. to get the full scoop and maybe get yourself a piece of footwear history.
