We haven’t covered the style as much as we should, but today we’re shining a light on the Covert Chambray Balloon Pants from Japanese imprint, Gold.
These could just be the gateway balloon pant you need to make the transition from rigid slim denim to the world of baggy comfort. The overall silhouette is what you’d expect; very roomy on the top block and thigh, an elasticated waist eliminating the need for a restrictive belt, with a fairly strong taper from the knee down to the hem.
Fabric-wise, they’re are made in Japan from a 100% cotton covert chambray fabric composed of a special uneven yarn called Manapur which not only gives it that super-rich, peppery texture, it’s also soft and lightweight making these the perfect choice for a summer steez switch-up.
