Iron Heart Issues Its Double Knee Work Pant In Lighter Weight 14 oz. Raw Selvedge Denim

The Iron Heart 14 oz. Selvedge Double Knee Work Pants in Indigo are damn durable. The iconic Japanese brand’s 14 oz. denim was already tough, but they went ahead and doubled the denim on the front for maximum work-proof effect. That means we’re talking 28 ounces per square yard on dem knees, folks. But while the knees are reinforced to the gills, these IH Double Knees are actually lighter in weight than their predecessors, which utilized 21 oz. denim throughout.

Thanks to that sweet proprietary Japanese selvedge denim, these Double Knee pants will develop a wear-pattern exclusive to your body, regardless of whether you’re putting them to work or simply rockin’ them on weekends. Both of which will be a doozy thanks to IH’s relaxed tapered fit.

Each pair is made in Japan and comes fitted with details like a zip fly (a welcome break from most of your 5-pocket jeans’ button flys, no doubt), rivet and bar tack reinforcements, selvedge details inside the fly and coin pocket, half-lined back pockets, durable pocket bags, triple stitched felled inseams and outseams, and a woven IH leather patch.

Available for $325 from Iron Heart.
