Coming in hot with more unique indigo concoctions is Japan’s ONI denim, this time offering a 16oz. low tension rope dyed slub selvedge in a one-wash. This is a unique combination that you won’t find elsewhere and takes its characteristics from the color of hank-dyed denim but because it’s rope-dyed will provide some serious fade potential.
As a special edition for the Big Apple’s Blue in Green, this version features herringbone pocket bags, copper rivets and plain rear pockets. Made in Japan (obviously), the Natural Indigo Kabuki comes in a Regular Straight and Relax Taper.
It’s rumored that there’s only one machine that’s able to handle ONI’s unique fabrics which means anything they produce is super limited and super slubby.
