Mister Freedom’s Lizard Camo One-Zero Smock is a Cold-Blooded Pullover

Everyone is in on US militaria, frog skin camo this…. tiger stripe that. But as it turns out, America wasn’t the only country that had armed forces with cool gear. And though the British are often thought of as having cool stuff, the French have been flying under the radar for too long. Fortunately for new and old fans alike, Mister Freedom is shedding light on the situation by reproducing an iconic piece of French combat history: the One Zero Smock in French Lizard Camo.

Originally made for the Studies and Observations Group (SOG) Recon Team leaders during the Vietnam Conflict, these smocks also take inspiration from the 1955 Belgian Paratrooper Jump Smock to create a mind-blowing 2-in-1. Made in Japan, this 100% cotton pullover features a 3/4 snap front with two patch pockets and adjustable straps. Although it’s of course the motion-packed, brush-stroked Lizard print that steals the show. And if that wasn’t enough, it backed with ERDL camo.

Available for $550 from Clutch Cafe.
