American Trench’s Latest Waffle Sweater is Hand-Dyed with Natural Indigo

Natural indigo? Check. Cozy af? Double-check. American made? Triple-check. Well, I’ll be damned; American Trench’s Indigo-dyed Waffle Sweater is three-for-three, baby.

Made from extra-fine merino wool, viscose, and cashmere blend, American Trench’s Indigo-dyed Waffle Sweater is a unique piece made to last. Each sweater has been hand-dipped into vats of natural indigo in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which has resulted in an all-over sky-like pattern that’ll only fade and get better with time and wear. The Italian wool blend used to make the sweater is resistant to pilling, which means less sweater-scaping, and the lighter weight feel of the sweater means it’s perfect for some Autumnal layering. Throw it on under a jacket or over a tee and you’ve got yourself a nice little, cozy fit, full of indigo goodness.

Given that each one of the sweaters is hand-dyed, only very few units are available, so if you’re going to pull the trigger, just close your eyes and do it.

Available for $275 from American Trench.
