Corridor stays bringing the heat (literally) by opening pre-orders for the Herringbone Raglan Balmacaan Jacket. We think the balmacaan style will continue its momentum into 2024. These long raglan coats always look good, especially in this breathable yet insulating 100% merino wool by the cult-favorite NYC-based brand.
Balmacaan jackets take their name from an estate near Inverness, Scotland, and this take on the style keeps things mostly traditional with the long, raglan sleeve, single-breasted silhouette housed in a rough-textured wool fabric. This fabric in particular has been knit in Portugal, in one of Corridor’s garment factories, and is totally in line with the brand’s style of interesting but simple fabrics and fits.
Featuring a full liner, chunky horn button closures, roomy welted front pockets, and back vent for proper draping and breezy feel, there’s no denying that this will be an overcoat for life should you choose to invest.
Pre-order is available now for $645 from Corridor.
