Iron Heart’s A2 Deck Jacket is Hardier Than the O.G.

The A2 Deck Jacket was first issued to U.S. Navy sailors as the successor to the iconic N-1 in the early 1960s. It housed a number of the same features as the N1 such as the heavy-duty zippers and hidden storm cuffs alongside updates to the collar, hemline cinches, and pocket configuration. Japanese heavyweights Iron Heart look to deliver an authentic repro of this iconic piece of Naval outerwear in every aspect, using their philosophy of implementing the hardiest fabrics and construction.

Made in Japan, the outer is constructed from a super tough and durable 11 oz. 100% cotton serge fabric. Get past the buttoned placket and over spec’d double action YKK zipper and you’ll find the 100% deep pile wool lining throughout the entire body and sleeves to ensure that warmth will not be an issue. A single breast pocket with snap fastening sits above waist hand warmer pockets and adjustable strap cinches, and the olive drab color is not only period authentic but ensures unchallenged versatility.
