Fade Friday – Indigoskin Ta-Wi-Lak Unsanforized American Cotton 17oz (1.5 Years, 2 Soaks, 2 Washes)

We’re saying thanks a ton to Tun over in Thailand for sharing his 17 oz. Indigoskin jeans, made from American cotton. Worn for 1.5 years and put through 2 washes and 2 soaks, these jeans have been put through the wringer on what seems to be a daily basis. Seriously, these are some of the most intense fades I’ve seen roll through the inbox in recent months.

Beyond the nuclear-ly etched whiskering and creasing that seem to be bleached into the actual fabric, what’s really amazing to see is how much indigo has been squeezed out of these jeans throughout their relatively short tenure on Tun’s legs. The thighs, seat, and calves are practically white, achieving the perfect shade of soiled yellow. Starting off working in his noodle shop, Tun finished out these fades working as a safety officer at a construction site. An eclectic resume deserving of majestic blue hues indeed.
