Clutch Cafe Restocked Stevenson Overall Co.’s Beautiful Saddle Horn Jackets

Stevenson Overall Co.’s Saddle Horn Type II Jacket is back in stock at Clutch Cafe. Available in a trio of fabric variants, the Saddle Horn jacket is Stevenson’s calling card, inspired by Levi’s’ iconic Type II jacket and other denim blousons of yesteryear. It’s not hard to see why Clutch buys these every year.

Made in Japan, Stevenson’s tried -and-tested denim blouson silhouette features a vintage fit (roomy chest and arms), metal buttons throughout, reinforced front and back yokes, cinch strap on the back, rivet reinforcements, box pleated front, contrast and tonal) stitching, and two open patch pockets that sit lower down the torso than other denim jackets.

Sitting at the waist, the Saddle Horn is an easy piece to style if you want a denim jacket that leans into a vintage aesthetic. And with three different fabrics to choose from, there’s a plethora of styling opportunities ahoy. The fabrics in question are classic 100% cotton 12oz. rinsed indigo-dyed denim, 100% cotton 9.5oz rinsed un-dyed denim, and a 100% cotton 12oz. rinsed black — each woven on vintage shuttle looms and finished with a green selvedge ID. You can’t go wrong with blue, but if you’ve already got a standard denim Type II in the closet, consider going natural or black, contrast is ever so important.

Available for $370 from Clutch Cafe.
