Now here’s a pair of jeans that have undeniably gotten better looking with time for today’s Fade of the Day. Oliver’s Nudie Jeans Steady Eddies that he’s worn for 3 years, with only 5 washes to their name, these Eddies are broken in and then some.

Fades galore, including wallet and phone fades on the pockets, nicely stacked honeycombs on the lap and knees, button fly imprints, and the faded seat shows off those Nudie arcs well. The amount of indigo loss is consistent throughout and the hue of indigo left over is just right.

Oliver traveled well in these jeans, sometimes cycling and hiking, activity which lended well to the lived-in appearance of the fades. If Oliver was going for authentic fades, he got them, and he’s got time left on these. They haven’t been shredded to hell yet- only a crotch and pocket repair done, so far. There’s some hard wear left in them if Oliver continues to take care of his jeans as well as he does.
