Dawson Denim Drops A Summer Capsule Stuffed With Texture

Dawson Denim, a denim brand across the pond in England, has upped the ante on their Spring/Summer line. Though admittedly their new lightweight fabrics might not get much wear in the English ‘summer’, every piece looks like it would suit me just fine here in LA.

An immediate standout is the Men’s Short Sleeve Sports Shirt. The lightweight yet substantial organic cotton Kasuri features subtle indigo splashes woven into the fabric that elevate the whole piece.  The open camp collar and flap pockets give the shirt an undeniably 50s vibe synonymous with Dawson’s inspirations.

Another piece in the collection –which happens to pair well with the aforementioned shirt and the boldly indigo checked women’s Sport Shirt –is an updated edition of Dawson’s Peg Trouser. Now available for bot in Dawson’s 10 oz. neppy indigo selvedge used on their deck pants and jacket, this . fabric is a welcome addition to this style. The roomy, pleated trouser has a high waist, but its leg tapers down nicely to give you a not-too-ballooned silhouette. Fade potential and summer comfort all in one.

With a gorgeous women’s Samue jacket and other standout pieces, the SS21 capsule from Dawson deserves a double-take and then some.
