The tropical climates of Indonesia are enough to put any pair of jeans to the test. That said, when motorcycling and the occasional trip to a construction site are part of your lifestyle, you are going to need some serious denim to fit the bill. This pair of Sage Ironhorn weigh in at a stern 23 oz. and belong to Heddels reader Vincent Dmitri of Indonesia.
After 7 months of daily wear, these jeans are starting to show real potential. The whiskers are strong and you can see nice honeycombs coming through. Although there is a lot of deep indigo remaining, trademark vertical fading from the left-hand twill fabric is beginning to take over, bringing some contrast and definition to these heavyweights. There is no doubt that after a few more months in the Indonesian heat, Vincent’s jeans will be a fade masterpiece.
