You don’t always need to spend big on your jeans to get some decent fades. Don’t believe us? Check out this pair of Uniqlo Straight Selvedge, submitted by Chase Rodriguez of Florida. He’s certainly put them through their paces, with a repair needed on the crotch, and the right pocket, after his cellphone busted through the denim.
These jeans aren’t crazily faded yet, but we can see the signs of great things to come. Three soaks have been recorded, and the indigo dye is holding up well, but the thighs are fading nicely, with some subtle whiskers starting to develop. We also have some tight, well formed honeycombs that could match many other higher-end denim brands out there.
If he can keep them in one piece, Chase definitely has a lot to look forward to from these Uniqlos.
