For today’s Fade of the Day, we take a closer look at Ethan’s Leather Works Minnesota Wallet, and the 10 months of patina its accumulated since it became his go-to.
Since picking it up, Ethan has kept this money-clip leather wallet on his person while doing it all. Be it typical every-day use, concert going, cycling, hiking, climbing, or backpacking, Ethan has relied upon it and his Minnesota hasn’t let him down. We don’t even see a single fray in the stitching. Through all that activity he has left an impression on the wallet, or the oils on his hands, sunlight, and indigo from his raw denim have. That gorgeous caramel color has fully taken over the exterior, with dark chocolate tones along the edges. As a nice contrast you can see some of the original color of the veg tanned leather in the area his cards cover up.
Ten months in, and many more years to go, no doubt.
