Oni’s 20oz. Secret Denim Goes Completely Black

Oni‘s latest demonic venture is another collaboration with New York denim boutique, Blue in Green. But unlike the stores’ name, this pair of Oni 622ZR-BKBK’s feature no primary colors — just black, black, and more black.

These are made from Oni’s infamous ‘secret denim,’ which is woven with irregular slubs and ‘secret’ techniques to create a highly textured fabric that fades hard and fast. To further enhance the denim’s fading potential, the warp yarns have been rope dyed, which leaves the very core of the yarns a natural tone. This means that, as the dye breaks down with wear, the lighter tones within the yarns will become exposed and make for shadowy grey fades.

To cap off this five-pocket package, these Oni’s are finished with a red selvedge ID, plain rear pockets, a tonal deerskin leather waist patch, and black enamel-coated buttons, which will chip away over time to reveal the steel beneath.

Available exclusively at Blue In Green for $230.
