Fade of the Day – Edwin Sen (5 Years, 6 Washes)

Edwin doesn’t find its way to our inbox often, but when they do, they’re usually good. Like this discontinued pair of Sen’s, for instance, which come to us all the way from Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and are certainly good enough to earn Fade of the Day recognition.

There wasn’t too much info from the owner, not even a name, but we know that these jeans have been worn for five years and most of the wear has come from walking around and doing repairs around the house. Speaking of repairs, it looks like these Edwin’s got some home repairs of their own.

Most of the time, the best way to get your jeans to fade is to put them on and let it rip, and this wearer took that sentiment literally as seen in the tears in the knees and crotch. And while this pair’s fade patterns are a bit more subtle, the honeycombs have taken on a misty blue tone in the creases and there are some dirty whiskers in the upper thigh and roping around the ankles for some added personality.
