There’s nothing like the familiar sight of some well-worn Levi’s 501 STF’s to remind us that there are great fades to be had at a discount price. Today’s Fade of the Day comes to us from Robb Buller of Ohio, USA, who has worn these 501’s for two years and gotten some nice results.

The devil is in the details with this pair because the fades themselves are not as contrasty as some like. Make no mistake, however, they are unique and, frankly, still in their infancy in terms of potential. Robb wears these in the evenings and on weekends, so the fade potential is limited, but it certainly lengthens life of his denim. Still, there is some nice whiskering in the lap and knee, and some honeycombing has begun, too.

You can even see some defined roping in the ankles, and with all that indigo left, we can’t wait to see the fades to come.
