Freenote Unleashes Nearly Two Pounds of Denim

We’re no stranger to the concept of heavyweight denims, but we’re mostly used to them coming from our favorite Japanese brands, and almost never from those based in the U.S. But if you’ve been dying to get your legs in a pair of heavyweight, American-made jeans, then today’s your day.

Freenote Cloth takes their business to the heavyweight arena with a 23oz. pair of jeans, sewn in the U.S.A. from denim supplied by Yoshiwa Mills.

These selvedge jeans come in Freenote’s most recently-added cut, the Portola, which has a roomier top block that’ll most certainly be a blessing when the denim’s that raw and heavy. And flat-felled seams, a two-piece waistband, and a Red Wing leather patch add the finishing touches to this totally hard-core pair of pants.

These 23-ouncers are available exclusively from Blue Owl Workshop and Mildblend Supply Co. for $290.
