While the doors of Cone Mills remain closed, their denim keeps rollin’ through the fade inbox like the good old days. This edition of Fade of the Day shines a light on this pair of Tellason x Huckberry Elgin’s, which come to us courtesy of Ethan Niyangoda.

Ethan has worn these Tellason’s for an array of fade-inducing activities, including woodwork, hiking, and climbing. The results? Solid fades that have emerged in just six months of wear.

After racking up three washes in their short tenure, Ethan’s jeans have developed a steely blue cast, which only improves the appearance of the whiskers, honeycombs, and general creasing. And complimenting a gnarly hole bursting through the back pocket is a leather waist patch that looks to have softened up nicely and earned a patina of its own.
