Holy honeycombs Batman, these 3sixteen SL130Xs are looking sweet! So sweet we thought they should be our Fade Of The Day.
Edd, from the soutwest of the UK, has worn this pair of heavyweight 17 oz. jeans from Rivet and Hide for four years now. To really get the fades up and running he’s worn them constantly for that first year and rotated them with other pairs thereafter. From all that wear and tear, including trips through Europe, they’ve required some repairs; some by Edd and some by the folks at Melvin Rakers. You’d be hard-pressed however, to locate the handiwork amongst the panoply of well-developed fades.
After four years of hard wear, these jeans might deserve to retire. With their beautiful fades, they certainly earned it.
