If your week is going slow as hell, join the dark side with today’s edition of Fade of the Day. Serial-fader Alpharik Kurniawan, from Indonesia, is back with a pair of Mischief Denim SL-003 Overdyed – the latest jeans he’s managed to work some lovely fades into.
Alpahrik has only been sporting these jeans for eight months, but rippling fades have emerged from the darkness to achieve a smoky pallet of dark greys and steely blues. The tropical Indonesian climate has helped work in some solid whiskers which fade into subtle striations where they span across the lap – but there is nothing subtle about those honeycombs – stark, stacked, and wrappin’ ’round to the knees.
With no repairs recorded yet and a ton of indigo to work through, we’re pretty sure this isn’t the last we will be seeing from Alpharikk this year.
