After multiple submissions of Naked & Famous‘ heavyweight “elephant” denim, we’ve concluded that it’s almost impossible for this fabric to not fade well! That said, we’re taking nothing away from Chad Choi’s N&F Elephant 2 Revenge denim jacket. Chad has worn this piece for just over a year, earning himself some soft authentic fades along the way.
Chad hangs his hat in Seoul, South Korea, and tells us he wears this jacket every day to his job at a specialist denim store. Whereas we usually see striking, high contrast fades from this monstrous denim, Chad’s fades are charmingly subtle. Icy white fading has developed on many of the felled seams, especially the type-III style knife pleats that run down the torso.
Nice puckering and roping around the waistband, along with beautiful honeycombs in the elbows have achieved that perfect well-worn denim jacket look.
