Some things don’t last as long as you’d like them to, but others last forever with a bit of luck and care. The toes have been worn down considerably from a once dark leather to a tan color. The fading gradually lessens up towards the ankles, showing remnants of the original color. One can assume that salty air and sandy beaches played a role in expediting the fade process.

Ace tells us there is plenty of tread left and he expects he can get at least another five years out of them if he treats them right.
