Naked & faded, and red! It’s always good to see how Naked & Famous’ avant-garde fabrics age and thanks to Nghia Hoang from Vietnam, we can do just that. He’s sent us some pictures of his pair of Naked & Famous Red Core Weird Guy jeans which are looking pretty unique after just seven months of wear.

To create this one-of-a-kind denim, Naked & Famous had the core of the warp yarns dyed red before the indigo dying process. As we can see here, the result is a zany fabric that fades from indigo to brick red. Nghia’s pair have yielded the most vivid fades in the lap, but after sustained wear in a factory environment, the entire jean has developed a rich red cast that is truly distinctive. Plus, that black teacore leather patch has patinated nicely too!
