We see a lot of high-contrast, super heavyweight, ultra slubby and neppy jeans made out of rainbow weft fabric around here. And that’s all well and good. But today’s Fade of the Day is a horse of a different color (almost literally).
This pair of Tellason John Graham Mellor jeans were sent in to us by Jake Gillespie of Tucson, Arizona. He wears them while mucking out horse stalls at an equestrian center. As a result, he’s given them very regular washing, resulting in some vintage fades.
Despite repairing the crotch on these twice, Jake tells us he has no plans to retire these young colts anytime soon.
