Ah yes, the mythical 6-month mark on a pair of raw, selvedge denim jeans. But wait, these have been washed 8 times in the past 6 months? Well, the “rules” are meant to be broken, right?

Today’s Fade of the Day is a pair of Samurai Jeans S710XX 19 oz. jeans that were submitted by Heddels fadelord Alpharik Kurniawan of Indonesia. He says he wore them for daily activities for the past 6 months, and that’s all it took. The honeycombs are forming well, the button fly buttons are threatening to peek through, and the knees have some interesting wear too.
