Selling an “American Rib 3 pack” is a common late June, early July occurrence anywhere in The States, especially if we’re talking full slabs of ribs. We like to eat, after all, and especially so on the 4th of July. While talk of an American Rib 3 Pack may incite cravings of extra sweet lemonade paired with Ruffles and onion dip, Japan’s Anonymous Ism has other things in mind with their latest release, a trio of 3 pack socks that confusingly sound like BBQ to us Americans.

Available in brown, grey, and navy, each American Rib 3 pack follows a similar pattern: they contain 3 pairs of lightweight, ribbed, vintage cardigan knit inspired socks crafted from a Japanese cotton/acrylic yarn that highlight the given color in three different ways. Most of their “gotta have it” socks are on the other side of the spectrum, wacky and textured, but we all need plain socks.
