Monitaly Cultivates a Farmer’s Jacket Using Their Proprietary Vancloth

Yuki Matsuda’s Monitaly is known for their offbeat iterations of classic Americana and workwear. Sometimes, though, his iterations are a bit more straightforward. The brand’s take on a classic piece of the workwear wardrobe, their Farmer’s Jacket, gives a nod to vintage hunting and outdoors jackets of the mid-twentieth century.

The outer is made from 100% cotton Vancloth fabric which is complemented by an 85/15 wool/nylon lining. It features a pointed collar, slanted and flapped patch pockets, military standard melamine buttons and double-needle felled seam construction. As is customary with Monitaly, this is a classic take on a vintage garment with a contemporary make-up. Wit this tasty number is perfect for hunting that perfect slice in the city this fall.
