FDMTL & Master-piece Come Together For a Trio Of Boro Sashiko Bags

Japanese patchwork masters FDMTL have collaborated again with Master-piece (Masters in their own right) on a collection of bags you can sling around your torso. There’s three in total, all utilize 100% cotton fabric milled and distressed in Japan, reinforced throughout with sashiko stitching.

They went ahead and wore, faded, destroyed, then reinforced, and put back together these bags for ya. At least it looks that way to me, and no one will be the wiser, except for your SO who thinks you’ve been spending too much time on those menswear blogs.

A pouch, a shoulder bag, and a crossbody bag are on the menu.

One for everything you need and nothing more—just look at the smallest option, it’s a perfect fit for your phone, wallet, and keys—that’s all you need right? Oh nah, you need your iPad to take notes in class, so you’ll need something bigger. What’s that? You need a little extra space for a burrito for after class? The crossbody bag’s got you covered. Just make sure they double-foil wrap your burrito, you don’t want to dirty up the neon nylon lining.

Available for $155 (Pouch), $235 (Shoulder bag), and $255 (Crossbody bag) at Okayama Denim.
