Sure you could buy a fancy espresso machine but all you really need to enjoy a higher quality cup is a cheap pour over. That said, we’ll be exploring pour overs in all price ranges, so whether you want something inexpensive and functional or something just as usable but with a be of panache we’ve got you covered.

1) Chemex: 8-Cup Glass Pour Over

Chemex is one of the most suggested pour overs, and with good reason. This 8-Cup Glass Pour Over has everything you need an more with its see through glass exterior, heat-resistant wooden collar to comfortable pouring, and a slightly indented glass spout to ensure you get every last, delicious drop into your cup. That said, if the price seems a bit steep for a simple pour over you can save a bit of money by getting a slightly smaller variant.

While we love the ability to watch that freshly brewed coffee drip into the reservoir, Gidon Bing Ceramics gives you something just as attractive to look at in their Ceramic Coffee Dripper. Sure, you don’t get to watch your coffee finish being brewed, but with a pour over this attractive do you really care? They’re intended for use with a Chemex Half Moon filters, so you can ensure you get a well filtered cup of coffee every time.

3) Bodum: Pour Over Coffee Maker

Bodum is another go to brand for many of our coffee needs, and their Pour Over Coffee Maker is one of their most solid options. With it’s figure-eight shaped glass body, silicone collar, and molded spout, this coffee dripper has all the elements you need for a perfect cup. And to be more eco-friendly a reusable stainless steel filter is included to minimize future waste. If all of that isn’t enough, this made in Europe coffee dripper is also dishwasher safe.

4) Hario: V60 Coffee Dripper

While the above setups are all great, for some of use they might seem a bit overkill. Hario’s V60 Coffee Dripper is a great choice if you just want to drip some coffee directly into your favorite cup. It’s made with smooth, ceramic finish and features a curved interior texture to help the filter bind to the edges of the cone. While this dripped doesn’t come with a carafe, its design is such that you don’t really need one.

That said, its unique design certain makes it feel a lot more substantial than some of the other pour overs on this list. Plus One – Stelton: Theo Pour Over Coffee Maker
