Kapital Wraps Up Charmingly Questionable Rip Stop Cargos

I don’t know if anyone on this site capes for Kapital as hard as I do, but I can talk myself into almost anything in their catalog. I almost bought a Kamakura Anorak while living in California*. I’ve earnestly called cropped pants with a 14-inch leg opening “reasonable.” I own socks that were knit with metallic thread. And I’ve also never been shy about wearing some wild stuff, but these Rip Stop Wrap Cargos would kick my ass. They would obliterate me. That being said, I don’t dislike them. In fact, I’m kind of in awe.

(*It was an Ironman-level justification challenge and I just didn’t quite have the stamina.)

Made in Japan with a 100% cotton ripstop fabric, these Double Black Diamond pants feature legs of different widths, cargo pockets at the sides, side-seam front pockets, a flapped pocket at the back right, a wrap waistband and an apron panel at the front that covers both legs almost in their entirety.

If you pull these off, you’re a Jedi. If you don’t, you risk throwing some “prep cook in the front, fisherman in the back” vibes that aren’t as cool as they sound if they do happen to sound cool
