Party It’s 1975 With Blluemade’s Japanese Corduroy Hollywood Double Pleat Pant

‘Tis the time of the season for pleated corduroys! Enough of these five-pocket cords, slim cords, etc. Give me a voluminous pant in that soft and cozy material. Give me something different!

Blluemade has a gorgeous Double Pleat Pant in a Coffee-colored Japanese corduroy that looks like it’ll fit the bill. They call it their “Hollywood trouser” and it does indeed take some inspiration from the iconic “Hollywood waistband” seen in some vintage trousers, but it takes plenty of other inspiration as well. The large belt loops call to mind 70s western pants and patch pockets on the rear shake things up. All in all, this NYC-made straight leg pant mixes several different references to great… and cozy effect.
