You can’t have too much of a good thing, so what’s better than taking an already-great shirt and then overdyeing it with natural indigo?
3sixteen really came to play with this heavy-duty workshirt, a piece that was cool even before it was dunked in natural dyes. The Utility Flannel is made from a herringbone twill check fabric that is new to the lineup this season. Made nice and heavy (the way we like) the shirt features classic details like dueal chest pockets, corozo buttons, and a functional, modern fit.
The custom fabric is woven in India and then dyed to a deep natural indigo, a color that will gradually fade to reveal the original fabric beneath. There’s so much bang for your buck in an overdyed garment and if you want a new heavy flannel that will stand the test of time and get more interesting with every wear, then this is the one for you.
