What’s better than having a fully functional and dope-looking hat? Well, having two of them of course. Himel Bros. has really gone to town on their Bespoke Reversible Chindit Bush Hat, and we’re very much here for it.
This Bush Hat is based on a hat worn by the British Chindits who fought guerilla-style during the Burmese WW2 campaign. They needed something to combat the jungle weather whilst staying hidden, thus inspiring the two sides of this beauty. The first side comes in your choice of 4 authentic camo patterns and comes equipped with a loop band meant for stuffing twigs in for camouflage, but you can just keep your pen handy up there. The reverse side is Chindit wax canvas made from lightly waxed British Millerain so you know the actual rain has no chance against this, leaving your dome dry and comfortable against the extra layer of canvas padding in the brim.
These are made in Japan from a heavy twill and are available in 3 different sizes to suit all head shapes – but be quick as certain fabrics have a limited supply.
