Iron Heart is breaking its denim weave with the 777SBR-14 Slim Tapered 14 oz. Jeans. Broken twill, ever heard of it? Normally, denim (a form of cotton twill) is woven in a cohesive and uniform pattern, but this here is a proprietary 14 oz. 100% cotton “broken twill”, non-directionally woven, forming something of a zig-zag twill pattern throughout. This particular weave results in a soft and flexible fabric feel from day one, unlike your average rigid selvedge denim, which often requires a little breaking of its own from wear. These broken jeans might be softer than your 21 oz. 777s, but they’re still durable as hell, and will only look (and feel) better with time.
