Who needs to put their jeans in a freezer when you’re practically living in one? For three New England winters, David Campisano was straight up plowing these Iron Hearts.

Literally, as in he works in snow removal and would have to hop in and out of his truck to shovel, snow blow, and plow his neighbors out of the ice and frost before he retired them to weekend wear. That was no easy transition, however, as their are David’s jeans of choice for static line parachuting.

Despite the repeated freezes, David opted for a very sensible 11 washes and 4 soaks over the course of their life. The years of snow and airborne activity, combined with semi-frequent cleaning, have yielded a beautifully natural set of fades. Distinguished whiskers, clean honeycombs, and all over indigo loss. These are the kind of fades Bruce Springsteen would write an anthem about.
