Hiroshi KATO Issues its Anvil Overshirt in Thick 8-Wale Corduroy

KATO has been dropping nothing but heat over the past few seasons, with the various iterations of its Anvil Overshirt being a major player in their offering.

The latest schematic for the Anvil Overshirt features a thick 8-wale corduroy, available in khaki, navy, and military green. Coming stuffed with texture from the start, this fabric can look forward to a long life improving with age as it molds to your body like other cotton fabrics. And mold to your body the Anvil will, thanks to its three-dimensional pattern developed for optimal fit. Most tops are cut from a two-dimensional pattern where the front is sewn directly to the back, but The Anvil introduces side panels as the third dimension, which affords more control over the shape of the garment.

Like all of KATO’s goods, the Anvil in Corduroy is made in the USA and ships with a handsome KATO garment bag. Details include a 4-pocket construction with a pen slot in one of the chest pockets, catseye buttons with contrasting threads, and a woven KATO tag at the neckline.
