The cult-favorite elevated streetwear brand, ts(s), just dropped some mean pieces of outerwear from their FW23 season. It’s not often one brand drops numerous pieces of totally unique outerwear you could slot into your wardrobe in one season, but ts(s) went ahead and did it, making treasurable garments to enjoy until they fall apart.
First up, the SOLOTEX Polyester Stretch Raglan Sleeve Coat in Olive. If you have been considering a trench-centric coat, you could do so much worse than this beauty. That generous fit, hidden front placket, contrast corduroy(!) collar, and multi-flap pocketed front really tick a lot of long coat boxes for us. The raglan construction also adds a pinch of workwear aesthetic which is always welcome ’round her.
Next, we have the Cotton Ripple Corduroy Shirt Coat in Navy. It’s a shirt! It’s a coat! It’s basically a simple long jacket cut from an incredible 100% Ripple Corduroy that, just like it sounds, has a ripple effect through the raised wales of its fabric. Subtle and understated cool.
The Garment Dye Oxford Reversible Jacket in Khaki appears to take influence from Eastern-style jackets that don’t feature collars, but do feature tons of style and function — just look at this thing. The Jacket is detailed with a reversible 99-1 Cotton-Poly Khaki fabric that is darker on the exterior, and lighter inside, with a super interesting contrast taped-seam design that you’ve never seen before.
Lastly, the SOLOTEX Polyester Stretch CPO Shirt Jacket in Olive. If you’re used to wearing a shirt jacket, or an overshirt, you’ll be right at home in this easy-to-wear jacket. It’s got dual gusseted flap chest pockets, dual welted hip pockets, button-front placket, adjustable cuffs, reinforced back yoke, and gusseted side seams. This might be the most straightforward jacket of the batch, but its by no means boring or forgettable.
