Yuketen Premiers New Boot Style, the ‘Salvia’

What at first may strike you as run-of-the-mill, modern-day boots will shock you with their subtlness on second glance. Venturing into murky waters that is 90s fashion, it shouldn’t surprise you that Yuketen comes out the other side smelling like roses via their Salvia boots in Snuff and Pale Black. Priding themselves on specialized manufacturing, this time Yuketen has partnered up with a small, generational Italian factory in Monte Sibilini to craft these boots.

Featuring a moc-looking upper in thick Opera leather and Tosca pebbled leather respectively, both of which have been developed specifically for Yuketen, this is where the heritage ship sales, my friends. First, let’s address that Cortina lug sole, originally designed for the 1956 Olympic Games. You’re looking at 8-layers of rubber, after all. Then there is that eye-catching soft padded ankle collar which honestly was a risk – but one that clearly paid off. Closed out with 360° Welted Goodyear Construction, no one is doing high-end revisionist 90s workboots made in Italy, putting these boots in a class of their own.
