Benzak Denim Developers Marks 10th Anniversary with Limited Edition Jeans

Benzak Denim Developers celebrates 10 years of developing denim with their 10-Year Anniversary Jeans. Hard to believe it’s already been 10 years, how the time flies when you’re fading high-quality denim, right? If you’re not familiar with BDD, they’re an exceptional denim brand, making some of the nicest selvedge denim and menswear designed in Amsterdam, but produced in Portugal and Japan.

As you might’ve guessed, Benzak has pulled out all of the stops for their 10-Year Jean, and it’s available in all 4 of their men’s fits – so everyone can get in on this special denim release (while supplies last). Be sure to check Benzak’s fit guide to find the silhouette that works for you.

The star of the show is the 100% cotton brown golden-selvedge right-hand twill Denim fabric, woven especially for BDD by Italy’s Candiani Mills. We really love to see unique yarn colorings employed in the milling of denim. Brown is such an underrated color and you can bet they’ll fade unlike any other jean in your rotation right now.

Italian denim differs from Japanese denim in its finishings, oftentimes it’s smoother in texture, with a sheen. Here, BDD requested a vintage-inspired fabric, complete with uneven qualities and hairy texture. The denim is loomstate, but sanforized, so they shouldn’t shrink much past the initial soak or wash in the tub.

Absolutely packed with BDD anniversary details: 5-Pocket design, bar tack reinforcements, gold-plated BDD metal buttons, copper rivet reinforcements, golden selvedge ID to match those sexy buttons, veg tan anniversary leather patch with gold foil embossed design (there’s a theme, here!). Each pair is made in BDDs Portugal-based sewing factor and comes finished with cotton-poly blend ecru pocket bags, polyester core contrast stitching throughout, and indigo bull embroidery in lieu of Levi’s red tab.

Available for $216 from Benzak Denim Developers.
