Warehouse & Co. Drops Limited Mackinaw x A1 Flight Jacket Hybrid

As the treasure trove of design inspiration from the Civilian Conservation Corps (also known as the CCC) becomes more and more popular, gems like the Lumber Jack Shirt Jacket in Buffalo Plaid from Warehouse are ready to hit the market, dressing a new generation.

Made from a 100% Wool fabric featuring the quintessential check print recognized the world over, the garment is finished with a mixed ribbed hem keeping it true to 30s form. Other stand-out details that match to the era include lower button-front pockets and an elegant shawl collar. Serving as the predecessor to the OD green wool cossack version, this model is thought to be a prototype or civilian pattern that made its way over into the program. Closed out with a cloth inspection tag at the neck, virtually nothing separates Warehouse’s expert reproduction from the original besides “Warehouse” snuck onto the tag itself.

So whether you pair it with jeans and a sweatshirt or use it to tie together a more dressy look, it can do no wrong – as long as it’s on.

Available for $780 from Hinoya.
