Levi’s Vintage Clothing Issues Zip-Fly 1967 505 Selvedge Denim Jeans

Here at Heddels we sure love our wide straight, old-timey cuts that really bring out the inner 30s farmer in a person. But that doesn’t mean we don’t know how to hang loose with a tighter, more modern fit. Although silhouettes from the 40s and 50s still inform what we wear today, when it comes to truly modern slim-fit jeans, it doesn’t get much more seminal than the 1967 505 cut from Levi’s.

Seeing as you need to be super quick and pretty darn knowledgeable to snag an original pair – in addition to having a small fortune at your disposal — LVC‘s repro should do ya just fine. Made in Japan (!) and featuring all the details that the model was known for like its paper (jacron) patch, big ‘E’ red tab, Talon zip fly, and selvedge outseam, it’s like wearing a denim time machine. So whether you feel like channeling your best hippie, greaser, or Ivy leaguer, or just want to dress for the present day, these jeans will deliver time and time again.
