Fade Friday – Warehouse & Co. Lot 1003 (1 Year, Unknown Washes)

If you’re a year into your fading project, you can’t really ask for better results than Fahans was able to achieve with his Warehouse Lot 1003 jeans.

Tapping into the love of blue jeans in its purest form, there are plenty of details to appreciate on these jeans from the Osaka 5 label. From the airbrushed-looking seat and knees which are the lightest area all around to the smokey whiskers and honeycombs acting like wispy clouds in the sky —they have it all. This speaks to the quality of the denim itself of course, which has a lovely graininess to it. The leather patch has some great patina, too, which is always a bonus. We’re on the way to jerky town that’s for sure.

Employing a strict water strike for the first 3 months, Fahans then took the frequent wash approach, which is evident in the overall Americana blue tone which harkens back to when jeans were nothin’ but riveted workwear for the masses.
